Melbourne Sketchbook

A series of traditionally drawn images of Melbourne based on the idea of ‘placemaking’. These illustrations were done by hand in a sketchbook and then scanned and digitally coloured.

Sketching was done in person and via reference from personal photography, the purpose of this project was to provide a series of placemaking (a participatory process for shaping public space that harnesses the ideas and assets of the people who use it) for a placemaking company who intend to use the finished illustrations for merchandising, posters and public project integration.
